“From the first responders who didn’t hesitate as they ran into harm’s way to the passengers of Flight 93 who valued the safety of others above their own, we remember the courageous acts of valor we witnessed that day which saved lives and united a nation.”
“We owe an unyielding gratitude to the men and women of the armed forces who have fought tirelessly to bring justice to those who try to threaten our freedoms. It is their sacrifice liberty which proves to the rest of the world that nothing can destroy the American spirit—that as long as we continue to be the home of the brave, our nation will remain the land of the free.”
